FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Las Vegas, Nevada. (January 22, 2004): – Dragonslayer Limited launches EZ BACCARAT™ game revenue enhancement to make commission disappear for the Baccarat table games market!

The solution, which required advanced mathematics to solve, eliminates the taking of the 5.00% commission after every bank winning hand without modifying any of the existing drawing rules of the standard game. Instead of taking the commission, when the Bank wins with a total of seven consisting of three cards, the Bank hand is a “push”, or “barred” (similar to the barred result on the “Don’t Pass” in Craps). The Player hand loses, as normal.

This modification is equivalent to taking a commission of 4.914%, and will occur once every 43.4 times that the bank wins, or about twice per shoe.

The principal significance of this modification is that the number of decisions increases by about 60% on the large Baccarat game, and by about 80% on the Mini Baccarat game. Other advantages are less dealer error, no commission disputes with customers, and the elimination of “forgiven commission” as an issue between casinos and customers. As a large number of customers leave the game because they run out of playing time, the use of EZ BACCARAT™ is expected to increase revenue from the same customer base without taking business away from other games that casinos offer.

“We set out to eliminate the commission without changing the nature and spirit of this very successful table game.” said Robin Powell, Managing Director of Dragonslayer Limited. “This required an examination of the mathematics of every single hand combination in Baccarat. Once we completed this, we chose the combination that would work the best and then carried out extensive testing to establish what the effect on the game would be”.

In addition to the “barred hand”, an insurance bet, called Dragon7™, that pays 40 to 1 in the event that the bet is made when the barred hand occurs, has been created. This gives the house an edge of 7.61% – about half the edge of the Baccarat tie bet. “We see the Dragon7™, bet as an attractive option for customers, particularly towards the end of a shoe when the barred hand has not occurred.” said Powell.

The barred hand and insurance bet were approved for operation without a field trial by the Nevada Gaming Control Board on December 24, 2003. They are expected to receive approval in other states as casinos adopt the modification. Full details of EZ BACCARAT™ are available at www.ezbaccarat.com.

Dragonslayer Limited has an exclusive royalty agreement with DP Stud, a Las Vegas game developer that owns the patents to every single “barred hand” Baccarat combination. “DP Stud believes that this creative use of our patent will result in casinos eliminating Baccarat commission for all the obvious benefits that this brings, and we are excited to be part of what will be the first change in Baccarat since the game was introduced at the Las Vegas Sands casino in 1959.” said Lou DeGregorio, President of DP Stud.
